eating for before an induction

They told me not to eat anything past midnight before my 6 am induction. What's the difference if you est right before you go into labor? I don't get it. So tmrw I'm gonna be starving -.- I think I'm gonna eat anyways. If I get sick, I get sick

Just eat if you're hungry lol, I ate a big breakfast right before heading in for my induction at the direction of my doctor and the l&d nurses. You don't know how long you're going to be in labor and they won't let you eat at the hospital. I always snuck snacks though :)

Eat b4 you go.. otherwise you might not be eating for 24-36 hours( at least ) the hospital staff wouldn't let my sister eat until 24 hours after birth I thought it was pretty stupid /:

I totally ate the morning of my induction, I was eating a dunkin doughnuts breakfast sandwich in the parking lot of the hospital lol I think they tell you not to eat so you don't throw up or in case you end up needing a c section..I throw up though when I'm in labor so may as well enjoy some breakfast!

Ughh*** typing with baby in hand lol last try! A c-section. It's up to you but I didn't eat before my induction and needed a c/s and glad I didn't eat cause I felt sick from labor
