Whew.. I guess I better hope for abdominal labor, if I must suffer with the labor pains that is lol.

Back labor ***** and as previous poster said us extremely intense. I had it wig my daughter and am praying really hard that I don't have it this time. Contractions started in Wednesday with her and her on Saturday, so you can only imagine how much sleep I had.

Back Labor is so intense! There's so much constant pain and pressure. It feels like your being stabbed repeatedly in the back with a huge knife. I've had it with both my previous pregnancies. Even with the epidural the pressure was intense. I'm probably going to have back labor this time also but I'm opting to have no pain medication. Let's see how that goes. Lol.

So is just like tons of pressure? On the back? Or is it also accommodated by spasm like pains?

I personally think back labor hurts worse...you feel everything in your back but may not feel anything in the front or you may feel it in the back and then feel it wrap around into the front..
