Concerned after cervix check.

So I am fully aware that you're supposed to bleed after a cervix check. After I got checked yesterday I didn't bleed right away. Later on I started to when I wiped. Usually it lasts a little throughout the day and it usually looks like blood. Well later on in the day it stops like it usually does. And then all of sudden at around 7 I wiped and its something dark mixed with what looks like snot. Its still going on too. Is this normal? I know it can't be my mucus plug starting to come out because I heard it was pink.

Sounds like your right on track... Labor could begin tomorrow, next week, or even past your dd... But losing your mucous plug is one of the first steps of the long process of labor! Good luck mama! You're very close!

Mucus plug can be dark :)

Your plug looks like snot.... It may not be pink! How far along are you?
