experienced moms.

My baby girl is 3 and a half months old. She will sit in her swing and stares at the tv. Especially if I put something animated on, I'm guessing because of the colors? When did your baby's start paying attention to tv? Just curious. TIA.

I don't sit her in front of the tv. But when we are in the living room I'm not gonna prevent her from watching. When u have your baby you can do what you want. I don't not play with her or sit her there all day. She just notices it. And was just curious

I wouldn't let the baby stare at tv that young, his/her eyesight/vision is limited & poor. It is still developing. Entertain the baby with other activities.

I never really let my son watch TV as a little baby. Always found other activities, he is now 2 and we still don't watch any more than an hour a day. It's more of a down time activity as a family or for sick days, when the rarely occur. When he was little and nothing would calm him I would throw on a Bob Marley music video and walk away:P that always seemed to sooth him at his worse. Not big on tv

Around 3 months she noticed the tv. At 7 months she started watching it. It's funny because she  smiles and giggles when certain shows come on. Guess she has a few favorites  already!

About the same age but than at about 6-7months he was no longer interested in tv and is now nearly 3yrs old and has only started watching cartoons in the morning before daycare.
