sex after a c section

I recently gave birth to my son Oct 22nd. I had a c section . Ugh... I've gotten my staples out yesterday and I've been able to move the second day I had my son. I'm so tempted to have sex with my man. What's the risks of me doing this?

I would wait ....... 9 days isn't enough to heal. You are supposed to wait 6 weeks

I was tempted to but waited the whole 6wks. It takes longer for the internal layers to heal so even tho you think your wound is sealed you are still at risknof infection or reopening your surgical wound.

id wait at LEAST 2wks. I was up and walking around the mall within a week and a half after my surgery. but the thought of that wound opening up, OR getting pregnant again scared me too much.
Not to mention the infections you can get if you put anything up there while your insides are still healing.

Your body still needs more time to heal and if you have sex you may become pregnant again since during this it's really easy and if you get pregnant it might cause a lot of complications since you had a c section
