help on when to test. I'm nervous

Hi. I got my period on the 18th September which lasted about 4 days afterwards my husband and I had unprotected sex for almost two weeks. Its our first time trying.  I have been on the pill for 2 years cause we wanted to wait but I've been off it for 7 months now so I wanted to know how soon I could test?

You can take an early pregnancy test which will tell you "take up to 4 days before your missed period" or something to that effect, if it's negative then take one on October 16th (if you have not started.) I have been pregnant 3 times, and the first two times were the only times my husband and I were not careful and the 3 rd time we tried and succeeded in the first month trying, so it is possible.

I used  the EPT and it didnt read positive until the 10th day after my missed period, but I know everyones body is different.

Hum thanks. And congratulations to all the new mommies and soon to be moms. I will keep youll posted. I should know by next week cause I have never missed a period. It always comes on the right date. I already bought a test so fingers crossed.

None of my tests even the early detectors came up negative until I was exactly 1 month. Ad it is possible to get pregnant on your first try I'm proof I decided June 25 I wanted another baby I started my period June 26- July 2 had sex July 3-10 and I'm now 13+2 till midnight lol so I conceived July 8 good luck

It is possible to get pregnant on the first try u sometimes hear of woman having sex ONLY one time and getting pregnant you will know soon enough good luck :))

Well my period is due on the 15th October. My husband thinks im pregnant cause I threw up a few times. But I heard that most women don't get pregnant on the first try. I wish I could know now.

There are some tests that allow up to 6 days before your missed period. So i would try taking one around the 13th or 14th. And even that may be a little early so you can always wait a few days and try again.
