Rushed Ultrasound?

Did your midwife rush through the ultrasound & seemed not interested in doing it?

I think the best way to have the ultrasound tech make it a good experience is to come in and immediately say you are so excited and nervous and just can't believe you are there for your ultrasound because it is SOOO exciting.  Then she won't be like "yawn, this is the 10th one I've done today, isn't it lunch time yet?".  My ultrasound techs were always pretty sweet because I was upfront about how excited I was.  

To them, it's a work day.  to us, it's a fantastic moment to see our baby!  ugh.

I have my first ultrasound tommorow and if she doesn't do what she's supposed to do imma step up and say something about the doctors in the place.

My first one seemed really rushed and the girl almost made me cry she was just looking at the screen super serious like and wouldn't talk to me. then she let my man came in and she showed us a few things but made it seem like a pain in the *** that I had brought him. the second the girl was very nice chatted to me while she worked and themore was very nice to my fiance and was showing us the baby and laughing at her movements with us. Totally different experience between the first and second. Both were done at the same place but by different people

That was something i've experienced in my last pregnancy but hoping this time will be different.  I don't go until the 20th.

Thats happend only once with my first pregnancy, when she finished so quqly i asked her about the gender abd she said 60% girl i was like are u sure?
I told i need to shop , then she saide boys do not set like that , thats defenatly girl
I was pissed off but she gave me at least a pic
What a day!
But all the other ultrasound was great..

I hop thats not going to happen with this one.

It stinks when our appointments are like that.  It's hard to see their side which is that this is just their job, we are but one of many people they are seeing that day and it is not all that exciting for them when it is so meaningful for us.  Maybe the midwife was having a bad day or something and let it show that this is more about it just being her job than creating a special memory or experience for one of her patients.  

Maybe you'll have another ultrasound??

I had the same issue at the hospital she just rushed thru the whole damn thing and said she didn't see nothing . I'm like if you do your work right maybe you would smh.
