can a women have period and still be pregnant?

Hi everyone. Me and my husband are trying to conceive.  I got my period today, but it came a few days early. My cycle has not been regular since I had a miscarriage more than 2 months ago but after that and even before that I never had early periods . I always have a long cycle,34 days or more. Normally I have some little clots when I have my period but today I do not have that. I do not think that this is implantation bleeding because I am not having  light bleeding. The bleeding is normal). I have heard that some people get "fake" period when they are pregnant. Is this true . Could I still be pregnant even though I am having a period? Any reply would be appreciated.

Personally, I don't think you are pregnant...after a miscarriage it can take awhile for your period to really become regular again.  After my miscarriage, I had a few months of crazy cycles and then I thought I was back to regular then all of a sudden my period went to a 27 day cycle (about five days early for me) then it went back to 32...Moral of my story is, you can take awhile to get regular and once you think you are regular it might get crazy again.  Good luck ttc!

to answer your question on whether you can be pregnant through ur period. You can, when i got pregnant the first time i ended up concieving 2 days after i got my period. I also had a miscarriage and a month and half after my miscarriage i ended up getting pregnant again and am now 37wks. It def doesnt sound like implantation bleeding because if i remember correctly its very very light. But good luck with everything! ~Baby dust~
