hello agian ladies i am wanting to know if this could have happened to anyone before. my doc made me see a gyn my af was really late was due for her in aug and no little gift so i told the doctor that i thought that i may be preggo she did a urine and neg so refurred me to gyn.my appt was on sep 9 and earlier that morning i had af pay me a visit at 3 am and i really diddn't know until i turned the bathroom light on and saw the blood flowing down my legs(tmi sorry) so i put a pad on and went back to bed and was in alot of pain. so then when i got up 3 hrs later i got up and went to the potty and this huge blood clot the size of my fist came out and was i a lot of pain. got ready for gyn and they did a prg test and neg but it had a faint pos line on it i seen it and the lady told the doctor then the doc told me that it was neg.so the have me going monday for us and i am thinking that maybe it was really pos and they want to make sure that i passed or maybe something else.please try and give some kind of advise.also af slowed way down to just when i wipe i don't know what to think or do i have been trying to take it easy and not let the stress get to me. best of luck ttc to all and lots of baby dust your way

i went for my u/s and waited to hear any news about what is going on and i got a call today no baby but large cysts on my overis left and right so i go next month for a follow up to find out what they can do for me.

My doctor would not have told me the test was negative if it really was positive.  Also a positive test, is a positive test, no matter if the line is faint or not.  So I too am confused.  If you think you gyno is lying to you about the test - I would ask - you shouldn't be lied to by your healthcare professionals - and I would find another gyno if you don't trust them or if you think they are hiding something.

On the other hand - the test could have been negative and everything is fine - and the large amount of blood and pain could have been b/c you went so long in between periods.  Not sure on this one.
