for a friend...

So my friend is pregnant about 5 to 7 weeks. She went to the hospital because of cramps they told her she was 97% having a miscarriage due to her sack being one size and the fetus being another. They also told her that at 7 weeks they should be able to hear a heart beat. I thought you couldn't hear a heartbeat at 7 weeks? I told her if she isn't bleeding then she should wait to see what happens the cramps come and go I just don't want her to end it if there is a possibility that she isn't miscarring

I saw my babies heart beat at 5 and a half weeks. I don't know if you can hear it that early. It may be different for other people though

With my first pg. I went to the dr at 9 weeks and the baby was the size of six weeks and no heartbeat. I did not start bleeding until 10 weeks then few days later miscarried.

I'm now 26 weeks pregnant but during my first trimester I had bad belly cramps the whole time and my baby is perfectly fine. I would say that it definitely isn't for sure she is having a miscarriage.

I heard and saw my babies heartbeat at 5 weeks through ultrasound. You don't always bleed and some women don't pass it on their own they have to have a d&c or they have a choice to wait to pass the baby or have the procedure done. She can have blood work done to check her hormones as well. She should see he Dr to follow up with this incident.
