Clomid and No Ovulation?

Hi Ladies, I need some help! I'm currently on my 3rd round of clomid, 100mgs. I took it 4-8. Anyway - today is CD 16 and I haven't had a postive OPK yet (except for CD 11, when I started taking them, but I heard if you take an OPK 3 days after your last pill - it can be a false postive) So do you think this means i'm not going to ovulate? Or maybe it's just going to be later? Just wondering what's going on!!!

Thank you for your help! I appreciate it - I'm just going to keep BD'ing every other day for this week and next - just to make sure!!! (My hubby will be happy!) Thanks again...And I think you are right!! :)

I would definately say it was ovulation,I myself was on clomid 2-6 and would ovulate somtimes cd10 others cd12.so its definately possible.smiley faces are great ovulation tests,personally if it had been to early then you would be getting them again now.so I would go with that,but keep bedding just to be safe.

Hey and thanks for your reply. So you think my postive OPK on day 11 was when I ovulated???? Hmm...I thought that seemed kinda early - but I guess maybe! I don't know. We started BD'ing on CD 11 and have every other day since. So, i'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!  I've just read on this site - that sometimes if you take an OPK to early after taking clomid, like 3 days - that can cause a false postive. But it was definitley a postive on CD 11 (friday) and haven't seen the smiley face since - i've been taking them twice a day - Once when i wake up - and then when I get home from work - and nothing since CD 11! So confusing!!!!

Ovulation can occur anytime within 9 days following your last pill.personally if you were on them cd4-cd8 then I would say you ovulated on cd11.either way you should O,within the 9 days.but im betting you have already.hope you got busy,best of luck.
