lol my ex bf was from Texas and you wouldn't even really know it lol..he was Hispanic, but looked white and always forgot certain words in English haha. And his favorite band was slipknot and he made fun of country all the time. Guess those are just stereotypes lol..

I am from the south originally (Louisiana) so I can see both sides lol.  but people in the north think that southerners are slow with everything they do esp when they talk....But I will have them know that southern people are so much nicer than northerners!  Ive always said that and always will...and more polite too!  But yes ll they think of is country rednecks when they think of south lol

I love Dallas, i live in the hood part lol in oak cliff but i don't see it any different from living in new york except that the cold is colder because its wet,, the hot is hotter because its humid..and people from Texas (my hubby) are very proud,, he takes it so serious like he has only been to Oklahoma and barley on the border,, he has never been out if Texas really

O yeah and they do love there horses was a cowboy without a horse. Dallas is mostly city I live like 15 minutes from dallas. Go to the country it will blow your mind. For me its like paridise I love it sooo much!! Its so beautiful and peaceful.

ive lived in texas my whole life i went to college in missouri and everyone would laught because i say yall like wht r yall doing tonite,lol they thought that is soo country and would ask if we ride horses every whr or r there alot of tumble weeds lol even tho we own horses and yes there r tumble weeds but only whn the wind is bad but other then that its nt as country as every one thnks lol I LOVE BEING A TEXAS GIRL,,, AND WELCOME TO TEXAS WHITENESS

Depends what part of texas u live in. ive lived in texas my whole life. And ive been all over it. My father is actually a cowboy and my white side is ahundred percent country. They live it conroe texas I love visiting they do have wild snakes, deer, hogs, pretty much as country as you can get. But gorgous!! My dad can ride bulls and everyone carries a gun because of wild animals. They got tractors and four wheelers and I just love it. My dad came to visit and everyone was like look a real cowboy!! Lol my family is very well groomed exspecially the men its the southern way. ;)
