Pregnancy or hormonal change

Hi I am 26 yrs old ,I have been married for 3 years and i am not on any contraceptives . I have had very regular mensural cycle but i missed my period this month.I normally get my periods between 3-5th and my cycle is 30 days. It's been 6 weeks+ and i tried the pregnancy test at home with the kit , my negative line was dark purple color and the positive line  was a light pink .I also did the blood test which was negative.. I have lower back pain , cramps on and off , white discharge and for the last two days my nipples are sore.. I'm so confused am i pregnant ??? or is it a hormonal imbalance?? the doctor      has suggested i take medicines to induce periods .I personally want to wait but i need advice please help me I've been very nervous.

I would also wait...... there was a faint positive line and its hard to get a false positive (altho it does happen sometimes) but i would stick it out another week and wait to test again and if the home test still has a faint line then i would go back to the dr and have them retest the blood or possibly do a vag ultrasound! Good luck and keep us posted!
