did anyone else pick their babies godparents b4 babies arrival and were they yur age range or older? i am 15 weeks and we have decided to ask my uncle to b godfather, he is a good 25-30 years older then us and will never have children of his own, he is gay, and i figured the earlier the better as baby is due july 2 and we will b having baptism in august since fmaily will all b together then for a reunion, we live in pa n my uncle lives in nevada, so ample time needed for travel plans. then we are decideing on my sister as god mother and she is 2 years younger then me.......... i love my uncle but i kinda feel weird asking someone that much older.... anyone

I'm 38 weeks and have all of mine picked out. I made the mistake of asking two of the four that I want...completely regret asking them. My advice to anyone is to wait and be sure that those are the people you want!

With my first child I chose my cousins Leah and Eric, they are both my age, my cousin Eric killed himself this summer which lead to my cousin Leah losing all faith in God and now claims God doesn't exist, but whatever. This time we chose my sister (13) andhubby's brother (18) and i'm hoping they would range the liberty of not only encouraging faith for my son, bit for my daughter as well :-)

I would not worry!!i m expecting twins and so need to get 2 pair of god parents!!and im gonna ask my nephew who is 12 !!!!and i became a god parent myself at 12 too!!

im still thinking but i believe im goin to ask my aunt nd uncle... theyve been like my second parents my whole life.. i even lived with them wen i was younger fur awhile... so i think itll be a good idea... but if my daughters dad wants to get involved with that then it might change idk... well see.. im ganna start talkin to him about it soon

I had my first at 1616the n my best friend is tgr best godmom. My uncle is just so desperate for kids he ofered me cash for my last one so i felt it would make him feel a little better. N i no he will b great at it my gma thinks its wonderful so i hope the rest of the family does

Dont be worried about anything I became god mum at 16 and was the youngest god parent as there was four of us and the others was older than the parents one was around 40 if I remember rightly. If anything its good to have the older and younger generations together :)

Dont feel weird all that counts is that u feel like ur making the right choice because age dsnt matter. My grandma and grandpa baptist one of my cousins so its ok.
