13 dpo and no af?!
DH and I have been ttc for three months now, and I have been having af on the 8th of the last two months. I went off of my bcp in January and skipped af for Feb. March 8th I had my first cycle off of the pill. April 8th I had my second. I just knew that my cycles had straightened out since I had started being regular. Here I am, 13 dpo...no af. I'm having watery lotiony cm, I'm nauseated, my bbs hurt, and im having cramps that aren't so menstrual. I tested yesterday and I got a bfn. I used the ovulation calendar from baby hopes and I just knew it was right bc I had ewcm when it said I was ovulating. It said to expect af tomorrow, but it doesn't look like she's coming. Especially since I've been spotting for a few days before actually beginning my flow. I'm at a loss here. Maybe I tested too early or maybe I'm just going to be late. Either way, I'm feeling super down. :(
Yes, this will be my first (god willing). I really hope we caught the egg this month, we are so ready for a sticky bean! lol. No af today! I didn't test because honestly, I think I would cry if it was a bfn. This is a tmi, but today I've noticed that the outside of my vagina (the lips. lol) are swollen and they hurt. I didn't look for any change in color or anything like that. In the past, if I was on my period and doing a sport or excessive walking, it would ache and hurt, but not like this. This is almost overkill. What could it be?
I hate to say it but it sounds like a good sign. This must be your first that you are trying for...with my first baby I remember that I was dizzy and then sick and I had no idea what the deal was so I decided to take a test and found out I was over six weeks pregnant! It always effects you more when during your first in my opinion! I hope that is what it is for you! I am looking forward to having you join the baby club!
That's so true, it's better to not worry about a hpt if your blood test says pos. I'm so glad you finally stopped bleeding, I can imagine how scary that would be! My cm is thick and stretchy again today. I dont know why my cm is acting all funny. And after I eat my stomach starts turning and I throw up. I only ate twice yesterday, and both times it came up. lol. And I have a feeling that the toilet is going to be my friend again today.
Yes (thank you for asking) my bleeding stopped last night but know I have this awful constant headache! I haven't taken a hpt because I am due to go back to the doc on Monday for a level check and I can't bring myself to do a hpt. I am relieved that the bleeding stopped, now it is just the watery cm... I am not worried about the home test bc like I said both of my boys didn't show up on a home test til I was 6 weeks. I'll take the doc opinion over a home test any day!
Makes me feel a bit better. But, I don't wanna go back to the dr and be like, "Oh...this is my month I know it" *Sticks out arm* I mean really. lol. I suppose I'll be waiting it out. I just don't get it. Do you have a bfp on an hpt now? How is your sticky bean doing? Has the bleeding stopped?
I know how you feel sweetie... I tried for 11 months to no avail I hope that is different for you. With all of your symptoms it sounds promising! If it makes you feel better with both of my boys didn't show up on a hpt until I was 6 weeks pregnant.
You're right, I'm jumping the gun a bit. I just want my answer now. lol. I'm just so on schedule the past few months that I'm wondering why this month is any different.
Most women will get their period about 12-16 days after ovulation. Retest in 2-3 days with First Response. It can also take 7-12 days for the embryo to implant and give off HCG (what the pregnancy tests test for). So if you think about all those numbers then it still could be a couple days soon to test.

Shouldnt an hpt be positive by now if I was? It's just so easy to get feeling down when your body does one thing, but those stupid sticks say another!!! lol. This would be my first pregnancy, I just don't know what to expect. And if there is a sticky bean, then my levels must be slim to none.
