hey wow you don't know what a big worry you took off my mind...i know how you feel about the "morons" at the hospital...they're the same at the hospital i went to.... i'm so glad that your son was came out perfect.. congrats ....its just everyone was scaring me with all their talks and stories and paperwork they were giving me...my first baby born dec 07 came out with this hip alginment thing bc of the morons at the hospital where i had my apendix out...
and now this you know pretty scary considering my pregnancies so close together... but im def going to a different hospital anywho thank you for your comment i greatly appreciate it.....
I also know some surgeries are safe during pregnancy. I was going to have one on my kidneys, but I was too nervous about the idea and decided to wait until after the baby. Having appendicitis is actually one of the most common non-ob surgery during pregnancy. If they knew you were pregnant I'm sure they took the most appropriate safety procedures for you and your baby. Just make sure to call the doctor if you have any bleeding.
Before I found out I was pregnant for the first time, I had some really bad stomach pain. I went to the hospital here (they're morons) and couldn't find out what was wrong with me. So they did cat scans and xrays of my stomach, even did the cat scan while running dye in me. I was probably about 9 weeks pregnant, yet they never mentioned I was pregnant and I had no clue I was. I found out I was pregnant the next day when I was discharged from the hospital. I was so nervous something was going to be wrong with my baby because of the dye/cat scan and things like that. He was born perfectly healthy with no deformities or problems.
