Cool rag on the neck helps as well
For me, a little bit of caffeine would do the trick during my first trimester. I just drank 1/2 cup of tea or soda (less caffeine than coffee) or decaf. It helped a lot. As long as u drink it moderately, a little But of caffeine once in a while is okay.
Best thing for headaches during pregnancy is tynenol extra strength! 2 every 4-6 hours! And dark rooms!!
