Was more consistent when I was closer to 26 weeks! Hope that helps!!! I was stick thin when I was pregnant with my first so I felt things sooner but the movements definitely weren't consistent until around 25 or 26 weeks with her.
With my second baby I still had the 50 lbs gained from my 1st pregnancy so movement was easier to recognize but it was not as easy for me to actually feel.
Hi there! I was in the same boat as you at 21 weeks. I didn't start feeling really "regular" movements and getting to know his active times and sleepy times until around 26 weeks. By 28 weeks I was feeling the strongest kicks; that lasted until about 34 weeks, at which point his kicks became more like rolls, wiggles, and stretches as he got bigger. I have an anterior placenta too; it definitely makes the movements less noticable. No worries - in a month or two you'll really get to know your baby's routine and he/she will be kicking up a storm!! Best wishes!
The movements I felt at 20 weeks were very tiny ones and they definitely weren't consistent. And having the placenta be right up in front will make a big difference in what you can feel... it's basically cushioning her kicks/punches. I'd say mine didn't become a daily constant "routine" of movements until closer to 24-26 weeks... even then, they can be sporadic (she loved her OJ and her ice cream... both of those seemed to get her dancing around). Good luck!
i started feeling her move bout 17 weeks and now im 21 weeks and its constant at night or when im hungry!
i didn't feel Aiden move constant until about 26 weeks
I didn't feel consistent movement until closer to 25-28 weeks...even then it would be sporatic. And the bigger the baby gets the less room he/she has....so when you get further along (closer to your due date) the movements will slow down again. As long as the heart rate is fine...I wouldn't worry too much! =)
Hey !!
I have no idea, but I wanted to say that I think it's neat you can feel her moving around! I am almost 20 weeks and I have yet to feel a thing... That makes me worry b/c it seems almost everyone on here (esp. in the Jan. 09 forum) have felt their little ones. I would be happy you have the doppler and you know the HR is good.. Maybe she's just wanting to relax and enjoy the upcoming Fall? =)
