Diabetic, Pregnant & Forever Worried!
Anybody else type 1 diabetic and worried about the consiquenses and complications of pregnancy? I just don't know what to do
I think I became the worst controlled in the hospital at one point I'm so worried I'm trying my hardest now for baby just praying all goes well
Yeah I am and didnt have the best blood sugars either but everything is fine have to go to the hospital every 2 weeks for a check up but the doctors really keep a good eye
Usually baby is fine as long as you stay on top of your sugars. After birth the baby may be in the nicu for a few hours just to monitor blood sugars (since baby no longer has you to regulate for them) but they always turnout fine! Might just be a bit on the bigger side! :-) best of luck to you mammas
I am 24+5 weeks pregnant and I use insulin and pills. My baby girl is healthy so far :)
