help roaches !!!

So I moved in my own apartment April 1st, when I cleaned there where dead roaches. Well I started seeing roaches and call property management, she said she would make a phone call and call me right back! That was Monday no call back nothing!  So my husband and I got it under control hadn't see any for 2 days. Well yesterday I cleaned the apartment real good didn't see any, about 10 last night we drove 30 minutes to meet our church friend that bought our car to get the rest of the money he owed us,  we get back and I killed at least 3 last night and 2-3 today! Its like someone put them in my apartment while we were gone!
So what can I do to get rid of them that's safe around my 11 month old and me (I'm pregnant). Could the product I used to clean the floor make them come in my apartment? My floor cleaner has a cinnamon smell. Any ideas and advice ladies?
Thanks!

I know right then, I can buy a ton of baby stuff and maturity clothes and toys for my 11 month old!  :) if management don't do their job I just might go ahead with the courts for free rent!

Also I called the health department they said they could send a notice to management and that I could go through the court and get a paper that would require the management to do something about it, and I could have free rent until they fix the problem! Anyone ever done that?

-.- so done with the roaches they're so disgusting! I'll buy the paste as you mentioned, and I'm pouring borax acid outside my apartment door so they quit trying to come through my door :/

They do have this paste stuff we used to get rid of ours. It worked great and you can put it places where your little one can get ahold of it. I forget what it is called but you can get it at walmart.

Call managment back and keep bugging them about it. it could be that someone else in the complex has them as well and if they bomb their place they move to yours. the entire complex needs to be sprayed and bombed. the things are as bad as bed bugs.

When you guys 'took care of it' did you just bomb the apartment?? My old place had roaches and I did use a bomb a few times. It worked for a few days and then the roaches were back. If you are living in an apartment then the roaches will just go under the walls and to the next apartment until the apartment clears out. If you see one roach you have thousands. I would speak to your landlord about if they have an exterminater come out to spray the grounds. None of this is safe around you or your baby.

U need to call management back so they can have someone come out n spray! Spray all door frames n window frames! N if they are small that means there was a nest in there n they are hatching n u most likely didnt see it wen cleaning! Also a neighbor prolly has them to if they keep coming back so ask ur neighbors n if so yall shud clean n spray at the same time bc if u clean they will go to a neighbor temporarily n then come back. Roaches r smart lol
