im 20 weeks and a couple of days my doctor wants to so my cervix up has anybody done that I'm not sure if I should do it or not I'm scared he said there was a chance they can break my water while doing the procedure I don't know what to do

Its your babys best chance at survival. Babys arent even considered the age of vitality till 24 weeks. The longer theyre in, the better the chance of survival and the lower the risk of complications

It's called a Cerclage. If he's telling you that it needs to be done do it. Your baby can come now and won't make it to where is if you have the stitch in it'll hold the baby in for a while longer. Good luck hun i pray your baby stays in there until your due date
