You're fine. Your friend is exaggerating. Not till u hit about 30 weeks yours baby starts gaining about half a pound a week

That actually sounds about right. I'll be 28 weeks in two days. My last appointment, I was 24 weeks and my doctor told me that my baby weighs around 2 pounds.
