Your Experiences Pleases

I am 36 weeks and 1cm dilated . My doctor told me my cervix is thick and I soon want to begin taking Evening Primrose Oil to soften my cervix. Has it worked for any of you moms ?

It helped me. I took it orally starting at 37 weeks and then vaginally at 38 weeks I went into labor on my due date. I would have sex and then put them in vaginally. I would put 3 or 4 in. It helped for me. I would just wear a pad if you do it vaginally it can get messy.

Its been helping me to an extent. My cervix was hard and thick. After two weeks it's now dilating and super soft and thinning according to midwife!

Ive never took it but heard it can work. You still got some time though, you may thin on your own!
