high risk pregnancy?

When I made my appointment they decided to see me at 4 weeks instead of 6, they said it might be a high risk, can someone explain what happens at the first app? Will they be able to tell me if the baby attached itself to my uterus correctly?

Okay, I just hope it attached itself in the right place. I was just hoping they could look.

They will do blood work, pap smear, talk about medical history involving you, partner, and family, and usually an ultrasound to see how far along you are, but I'm not sure they will be able to see anything that early except a sac.
