It sounds like your doctors are being extra cautious which is a good thing. Being labeled as high risk means you will be closely monitored for any problems which also means they can intervene quickly if need be.
All pregnancies are screened for abnormalities including downs syndrome and heart defects whether high risk or normal. With today's advancements and technology, many women with high risk pregnancies can have healthy babies.
Being high risk does not mean that you cannot have a healthy pregnancy or healthy baby. It means your medical team will do everything they can to help you have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
Try to rest and not stress as best you can over the next few weeks. Also know that if you are feeling anxious or concerned, communicate it with your doctor and they can help you through this process.
Best wishes for you and your family.
