important question!
When you get checked to see how far dilated you are does it help speed things up, thin out your cervix, or dilate you any farther? I just want to know because last time I was checked I was 3 cm 70% effaced and I started to bleed for a while afterwards but it was normal. Due date is tomorrow and wanted to see if may e them checking me the other day helped.
Ok, i see, that ***** they won't do anything till I'm 41 wks. I just hope he comes soon, tomorrow would be perfect but we'll see :/
Last time I got checked at 2 cm very thin, I bled and lost my mucus plug.
It could potentially speed up labor but I reccomed a membrane strip if you wanna get things started.
