inducing labor

Is it safe to use evening primrose oil after 35 weeks to help start the process of getting baby on her way? If so, how do u rub the oil on the cervix to help soften it to get ready for delivery?

If your 35-36 weeks I suggest evening primrose oil. I have been taking three a day since I was 36 weeks now going on 38 & went from 50% effaced to 100% & 2cm dilated it helps thin you out and helps so you don't tear while delivering!

It doesn't necessarily start labor. It softens your cervix.

Another mom on the site used it and it helped her... She went into labor, i think a week or two after she used it. She told me how to take it.

Im 34w and i take two 500mg capsules everyday and one vaginally everynight RIGHT BEFORE BED. you just poke a hole in it and stick it as far up in your vagina as you can before you go to sleep and wear a panty liner bc it leaks a little.
