HES HERE!!

My little boy Jace Nicholas entered this world August 12, 2014. My labor story is ... on Tuesday the 12th I woke up to use the bathroom and after that I climbed back into bed around 6am I felt I big POP ! And I was like what was that it actually scared me so I poked at my son for a minute and then sat up and there was nothing so I was getting kinda scared. Finally my son moved and I felt a big trickle and I knew at the point my water broke. So I got up and I ran (wattaled so I wouldnt get the floor all wet which didnt help at all) to my moms room down the hall where I told her that I thought my water broke. Around 6:30am my mom called the hospital and they told us to come in and that they would have to induce me because I wasnt having contractions.  I got very emotional and upset about that. By the time we got to the hospital it was around 7:00am and at that point I was just starting to have contractions they got me in a room and did all that good stuff. They checked me and I was about 3 and a half centimeters dialated I walked around for about and hour and my contractions became stronger and closer. After the hour of walking I did and hour of sitting in a rocking chair. At this point I lost track of time. My contractions got pretty bad so I asked for pain medication and they checked me and i was 5 centimeters then the gave me a dose of something I forgot the name. But the told me it would onky last an hour. After and hour the pain meds wore off and I was in ALOT of pain amd they told me to go try and use the bathroom so I went and when I sat down I couldn't go but I felt a whole ton of pressure and my contraction were unbarable So I asked for the epidural they said okay let me check you. So they did and I went from 5 centimeters to 10 centimeters in an hour. And sadly they said I was unable to get the epidural because my son was just starting to crown I was soooo upset. And at 11:42am my handsome little boy was born. To be honest I would go without the epidural all over again if I had the chance. I had a easy 5 hour labor. And at the age of 16 everyone told me that most teens go past due date and most pregnant women have contractions before their water breaks. Guess my son just reallllly wanted out lol

Thanks. And yeah no epidural I had absolutely no time for one so I had to go without which I was very upset about. But after I got over the fact I couldnt get an epidural I must say id do it all over again without an epidural. I also got to help pull him out which was very special to me.
