is 3 weeks postpartum enough?

I'm really wanting to get a job as soon as possible before Christmas. I'm due October 23rd but having a repeat c section so most likely a week before that. But anyways I'm wondering if that would even be possible?Has anybody went to work pretty much right away after birth?

Most Drs release you to go back to work at 6 weeks. Places wont even hire you or let you work until 6 weeks because they would be liable if something happened. And if you are putting baby in daycare they won't keep baby until at least  6 weeks .

I just recently had a c section about 2 weeks ago and I feel great I started my regular routine at 1 week 3 days and I'm not in pain or anything but I don't lift heavy things cuz you heal faster outside than inside but I would say enjoy 4-5 weeks with your baby before returning to work

I had a csection and I had a great recovery. I felt good after 2wks and was into my normal routibe again but it wasn't until 4wks I could drive or lift things comfortably. I don't think I could have sat or stood all day at 3wks, so going from my experience I would say give yourself at least 4wks.

They doctor might not release you that soon. I didn't have a c section, but I tore extremely bad and my doctor wouldn't release me until 5 weeks because he said I needed to let my body heal.
