worried abit..

I'm 5w 2d pregnant and I started bleeding yesterday. Its not heavy bleeding but I don't think its spotting either..I feel like im having a normal period.. yesterday when it started I had horrible cramping and my back was in so much pain also..  but today the cramps are a little bit more manageable.. could I be having a miscarriage?

Thank you everyone for your responses. It was a miscarriage, which is what I was afraid of.. :( I didn't know I had RH negative blood and that is why I had the miscarriage because the fetus they said was RH positive so therefore treated it like it was an infection or a foreign object and discarded it from my body.. it was a very sad day when I found out. but at least now I know for the next time I get pregnant. thank you all again for your comments

sounds like when i had my miscarriage. it was so scary, but i didnt really have any cramping in my stomach.. just in my back. call your ob and they could get you in today to do blood work to check your hCG levels. theyll tell you if youre miscarrying or not.. the day after the bleeding started for me.. my levels were at 68, and i was like a little over 6 weeks.. they said that level was about what a person only 2 or 3 weeks pregnant wouldve been :( good luck!

Yes I had that happened to me before... Miscarriage is a 99% possibility but don't take any of us word for it... Call your doc and have them to check your HCG level! That's the only way they can determine you are miscarriaging. I'm sorry if you are. I'm still distraught from mines! :(

I had the same symptoms when I had my chemical pregnancy in march.  Except I just had some spotting. But lots of cramping.

Bleeding in early pregnancy can be common for some women but it usually does not come with cramping.

So I would definitely go to your dr

I agree. I had the same thing happen at 5 weeks. The first day was exactly how you described it but I had tons of bleeding, almost pouring out of me! :( If it is miscarriage, remember that they are SUPER common in early pregnancy!

Yes that could be a possible miscarriage.

I would go see your dr and see what they say
