So my mom has Blue eyes and is blonde had three kids not one of us is blonde or has Blue eyes is there a chance my second child can have colored eyes my first child didnt. My moms the only blonde in the whole family.

I have four kids and the father has dark hair brown eyes. I have auburn hair and blue eyes. We have a black haired kid with blue eyes, brown haired kid with brown eyes, a blonde haired kid with blue eyes and one with bright red hair and blue eyes.

I nannied a little girl and boy, parents were brunettes and brown eyed. Their paternal grandma was blonde n blue eyes. The girl, the oldest was light brunette and brown eyes, the younger boy was bleach blonde and blue eyes!

I'm thinking the same thing I'm part Greek black hair olive skin and Hazel eyes hubbys white but has black hair green eyes and so far all 3 kids are pale with blonde haired blue eyed. No one in the family is blonde blue eyed people always say it must be a throw back thing.  I'm hoping baby num 4 is a brunette I'm sick of looking like I've stolen my kids :)

My husband has brown eyes and I have hazel we both have dark hair also. My mother innlaw has blue eyes and black hair.  My dad was a red head with gray/blue eyes.  Well my daughter has ice blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair.

There's always a chance since the gene is recessive and it also depends on the baby's father. But brown is dominant more than anything. But anything is possible.
my mom was born with blue eyes and light brown hair my dad has green eyes with very dark brown hair. My brother has hazel eyes with brown hair but was blonde as a kid and my sis has blue eyes and her natural hair color is blonde. I have brown eyes and brown hair and got the brown eyed gene from my dad's mom. So anything is possible.
If blue is recessive then there is always a chance. But like I said brown is more dominant and if both parents have brown eyes then more than likely the baby will, too. But like I said there's always a possibility.  Genetics are amazing I think! :)

I was wondering the same thing my mom is a hazel eyed ginger kid NONE of us turned out like that but a few of my cousins have the green eyes. Wondering my little ones chances?
