that is right, we have the lutenizing hormone in our systems at all times and it gets stronger and stronger till we O. Many woman think these are positives then stop testing only to miss their ovulation. NO package will say faint lines are positive for an OPK, only a pregnancy test. OPK's do have o be as dark or darker then the control to be positive. Some woman have a quick spike and miss it on an OPK all togeter. If this happens month after month you need to check 2x a day, once 4 hours after you get up then once late evening like around 8pm. If you are ovulating then you should catch it then. You will not get a positive more then once either or more then one day I mean. If you do then you are most likely not ovulating and are not ovulating. Woman who do not ovulate tend to get mroe then one day of a positive test as the lutenizing hormone is staying high to ovulate but it doesn't happen. Your BBT temos will not have a true O spike either in this case. WOman who have hyperthyriods, PCOS for instance have this isssue among other woman with other issues.
It should always be done around he same time every day and at least 4 hours after waking for it to get to your urine. ALso ti is good to not drink for like 3 hours prior to testing. If you are charting your BBT also yo will notice your spike the day after your positive to confirm you have indeed ovulated.
late post but just so people dont read false information....faint lines are NOT considered positive. The test line has to be atleast as dark, or darker than the control line, otherwise its considered negative. I would say in the next days it would be positive, keep chkn but BD just incase : )
if your read the instructions on the packet faint lines are classed as positive. or at least they were on the test i did when i got pregnant :)
i didn't test yesterday, i wonder if i had the + yesterday, I will test again late tonight and hope i get the +++ opk :)
doesn't look positive yet to me either
The second line has to be as dark or darker that the control line. To me it does not look like a positive yet.
I would say that this is an almost positive opk, since the line is a tad bit lighter than the control line. You should probably get a positive within the next couple of days, good luck!
you have to blow it up to see the half of the line
