What are factors to help determine if you are eligible for a vbac? According to my edd im about 20weeks and 16months ago i had my son via c section.. My c section wasn't planned i had to have an emergency c section after 24hrs had passed after dr broke my water i stayed at 8cm when i stopped dialating but that was about the only reason they performed csection all my pregnancy was a pretty healthy relaxed pregnancy

You have to find out if the hospital and your doctor will do one. Every doctor is different. So its best to ask them

I had an emerg c section with my first. With my second, my dr oppted for a planned because a. I have a very tiny pelvic bone and its tilted. And b. Because my dr feared that i could have several complications after my first c section. Which was 7 years ago. She oppted for another c section with my third.

Now a VBAC is something that can be done, some doctors just dont want to risk certain complications that will end with baby in distress.
