Thank you so much for your response it definitely makes me feel better. They couldnt schedule me for an ultrasound until monday but they said they will tell me what my options are monday I just feel like every appointment I have to wait for another appointment for any useful information! Lol
I had that with my daughter. She grew normally in the beginning of my pregnancy then her growth started to plateu. At about 33 weeks I had to have weekly ultrasounds and non-stress tests every 3 days to monitor my daughter. I was induced at 37 weeks. My daughter was born weighing 4 lbs 11 oz. She had to be held in the nicu but luckily she was able to go home 2 days later with me. In most cases the babies don't have any organ/developmental delays aside from their weight. If you saw my daughter today you would've never guessed she was such a little peanut at birth. Once the babies are out and feed adequately, they grow like any other baby.
I am 35 weeks and 2 days. And I am measuring to be smaller then what I am supposed to be. And my doctor hasn't said anything about it being igur or anything.
Thank you so much for the information. Im glad to hear her baby was okay. :)
I don't have personal experience but my friend just had her son 3 weeks ago and I don't remember her saying it was iugr but it sounds like the same thing. He stopped growing in her stomach because the placenta wasn't getting him what he needed to grow. They monitored her extremely close and ended up taking him out when she was 33.5 weeks along. He was 3 lbs. 11 oz but he's been growing a lot since out and he can go home from the hospital this Friday after being in there 3 weeks. I hope everything turns out okay for you and your little one!
