OMG!!! ABSOLUTELY!!! :o)
You'll need to get the pathology reports from when you had your tubes tied - they aren't always the most accurate, but they will give a good idea of what exactly was done to your tubes, damage-wise. Most can be reversed, the type you had will affect your
chances, but I've met a wman who used my TR doc that had a Fimbriectomy (Not good!)
and she got pregnant very soon after her TR - I was amazed because I knew that her
chances were really, really, low.
I've been with that group of TR women since early 2004 and have only met 2 women ever,
who were unable to be "fixed", so never say never!!
It took me a year to get pregnant, but now have an 18-month old, so I will testify
that it definitely works!! I never thought it would happen for me & it did - Thank God!!!
Feel free to e-mail me if you'd like more info OR check out my profile...
If the entire tube was burnt, then I'm not sure, but I think if you're willing to spend more than $4000 to get a reversal, I believe it is possible. They probably just snip the burnt ends and somehow fuse them back together.
I wish I could get more info to you. Try googling about tubal ligation reversal!
I have heard of having a tube tied reversal, but having them burnt, I dont think is possiable, but that is something you might want to check up on..GOOD LUCK TO YOU
Well I'm definatly not a specialist and can't tell you whether you will or not but I can share a story with you that should boost your hopes. My mom is now 37, she startes young...lol..but anyways she had her tubes tied for 6 years and my dad and her decided to have more kids, there are 11 of us now, if you include the twins. After having the surgery she was miserable for a few weeks and then she started getting back to her normal self. 3 months after having the reversal, without fertility treatment she found out she was pregnant, at her 20 week check up she found out it was twins. The babies just turned a year old and they are as healthy as can be. See anything is possible you just have to believe in God. If I was you I would call a specialist and make an appointment and see the options. My mom said it was expensive but she's gald she did it!! Good luck to you and keep me posted on what you decide to do!!!
