I had my first when i was your age an my pregnancy wasn't a walk in the park either  around 36 weeks i was crying an begging for them to end my misery ...but once i went in to labor i just got a since if calm from where Heck if i know but i foused on  the fact when it was over i was going to see my baby and when he was born i forgot all bout the pain i was in labor 12 hours before i got any pain meds .. Just having he support of family was the best i was getting massages and watching movies i let mother nature take out and let my body do what its made to do .... And im doing it all over again im having my second son  the 22nd  via c section ... But i wish u the best and its ok to have fears they will make u as comfortable as possable remember u have control ... Good luck

Its all a mental challenge. The pain is physical of course, i had a emergency c section and i was shaking so hard that they had to give me meds to relax, didnt help but all i can say is just go into it as relaxed as possible. And warn your dr that you have anxiety issues.and you want to have a peaceful labor as possible.
