lactose intolerant?

Anyone develop it later in their pregnancy? I thought I had it before... but it was just because I was pregnant and didn't know it.. it was so bad though... I had lost so much weight... and the past couple of days I've been so crampy and having the poops... and I've also been on an ice cream kick lately... ugh. I was fine throughout my whole pregnancy except for the very start and now.. there is no way I can give up milk... I love it way too much. And ice cream and cereal and cheese. Ah..

It really does happen! I had it around 10 weeks though.. I could not have anything dairy as it upset my stomach so badly :( but it was a phase thank gosh, I hope for your sake that it is as well

WhenI was pregnant with my daughter, the only thing I could keep down was smoothies, and I really liked Jamba Juices pomegranate one. I ended up making myself allergic to it though. My doctor told me that the changes in your body when you are pregnant can cause you to react badly to foodtgat has never caused problems before. I know that for me, after she was born, the allergy went away. Since you can't give up milk, go to the store and buy lactaid. It's a pill tagt will help your body respond to the lactose properly. Just take it before you have any dairy and you should be ok. Good luck!
