laproscopy

Hello,
I am planning to undergo a laproscopy for the removal chocolate cyst. can laproscopy be done on any day of the mestrualy cycle or only on a specfic day of the mestrual cycle.? Are there any post surgery concerns?

Thank you  all so much for the response.. i feel better .. i was a bit nervous.. also i have been ttc for the past 9 months.. i hope this works for me . Thanks !!

They wont do a lap during your cycle.normally day 11.depends on the hospital.but they cant do it during a bleed.as they not get good pic of whats going on.make sure you have some kind of pain relief before.you will fell sore after.on a good note,these laps are good for helping to concieve.ive had a few.along with ovarian drillng for cycsts.best of luck.

I have had 7 laps - some for cysts others for endometrosis... they blow up your belly full of gas - and put you under.  Just take the pain pills after and rest for a couple days - you will be sore.  they get easier as you get them - my first was when I was 14.... You will be fine - trust me.. I had my chocolate cyst asperated in the dr office - no pain meds fully awake - that was HORRIBLE... but they could not remove any fluid  and had to do the lap a few days later....
