Can anyone sign the acknowledgement of baby? Why does it have to be signed but not the birth certificate?

Its for legal protection if u have a acknowledgement of perternity you can atomaticly put him on child suport without having to do a dna test. And if its not signed the hospital will not let the birth certificate have any of his infirmation on it. Only yours.

the father has to sign it if he wants to be on the birth certificate if he dies not sign it, it would be left blank. And only have your information on the birth certificate.
