maternity leave question

Have a big head of think about my maternity leave. Get letter from my job and is written I will get 8 weeks full pay 39 week half pay plus smp, 13weeks only smp and 13 weeks unpaid. Just start thinking can I get any benefits if my salary is no more then 1280 and my husband do a part time 80 h a month ?????

How long are you taking off? If you are in the uk, I'm taking 9months off and I get paid for all of it. If you chose to take more than 9months, which you can, you don't get paid for anything once 9months is up. Not sure if my pay will be a consistent amount throughout the 9 months but I don't go without something

I really doubt it. It sounds like you live in Britain. You will be eligible for child benefit, but that's probably all you will get. Child tax credits you need to.be earning less than £24k a year. You may be eligible for.help towards nursery fees once your baby starts.going.

Anna0589 that is a really good question but to be honest you wld have to just apply and see what you are eligible for bc now a days qualifications for help is so different and every case is different..it also depends on if where u live if they have funds available to give u extra help or not that goes for any type of assistance....so just check and see better to know than not to know if u don't try.
