Me and my boyfriend were trying for months for number 2. and I was so caught up on getting pregnant, but I wasn't! 2 months after saying f it, low and behold.. I was pregnant! Sadly I miscarried at close to 7 weeks :( but if you haven't been pregnant after trying 12 to 14 months, consult a doctor and he could give you clomid or something like that to help you conceive. It takes the average healthy couple about a year (normally) to concieve. After a year of trying a doctor can do a series of tests to try and determine the cause. When I was trying to concieve my 4th, I got so depressed that it wasn't happening as quickly as it had before. My mother-in-law told me to stop trying and it would happen. I stopped trying, atleast mentally, a month later I found out I was pregnant.
Sometimes stress can be the best or the worst birth control.
