How under developed is the baby?  If you are 6 months pregnant and the baby has only developed to 3 months (from your other post)  The chance of survial is not good at all. A baby that is at 12weeks developement will not survive. Like kelly said the organs must be developed.  In this case the weight of a baby wouldn't matter if the vital organs are not developed.   Are you having problems in your pregnancy??

It also depends on how developed their vital organs are at the time of birth.

You mean at how many weeks right? If you meant how many weeks a baby is considered viable, it's 24 weeks, although there has been a miracle baby to survive at 19 weeks, but 24 weeks is where the baby is considered viable with intensive care.
