miracle babies?

who on here was told that they'd never get pregnant cuz of some medical condition or another but are currently pregnant?
I just wanna hear the stories. Doctor's think they know everything.

i think all your guys' stories are great(:
we all definitely have little miracle babies!
we should write one of those books that's compiled of different people's stories all about the same topic.
doctor's only know so much. hehe i was discouraged when i was told i couldn't get pregnant, but my grandma, who is a strong believer told me when i was like 13 that she KNEW one day i would be pregnant with a little girl by some man who drove a red sports car (funny details she had in a dream about me)
my husband owned a red mustang when i met him when i was 16 and now, we're both 20 and i'm pregnant with my baby girl<3

I have always had irregular periods. I miscarried my first child when I finally got pregnant. 6 months later I conceived again. I hadn't  had a period for 4 months and got pregnant without a period. I am now 31w5d :)

When I was 17 I tried to commit suicide with pills and the doctors told me I did so much damage to my body and ovaries I would never have a child, that even in the rare chance I got pregnant, I would most likely carry. I miscarried my first pregnancy which happened by accident, my boyfriend convinced me to abort my second pregnancy by accident, I miscarried my third pregnancy after starting to try and a year and a half after that I finally have my healthy baby boy growing in me. I'm 26+2 and worry all the time about miscarriage.

The depo shot messed up my body so after a year and half I started having periods 2 times each month so three weeks out of four I was bleeding. My doctor put me on birth control for 6 months to help stabilize my periods he then informed me that I will probably ovulate every 4 to 6 months so after 7 months of trying I am finally pregnant. I just hope that this bean sticks!

I'm 19+2. I freak out at every cramp, ache and random pain. He moves constantly so I'm grateful for that cuz i would freak out if he didn't and probably harrass him lol

@nece how far along are you? i still worry about that too. like if i feel a cramp or a strange pain, i get freaked out. or if baby doesn't move for a while i'll harass her until she does or get out my fetal heart monitor and check up on her lol.
@oorahmommy lol that's funny! i wanted a little boy first, but we made a girl instead haha

Well for me, I wasn't told by a doctor or anything.  It was my mom, she said the chances of me getting pregnant might be super small because on my dad's side a lot of the women couldn't have kids.  I got pregnant within 5 months of trying.. had a miscarriage, then got pregnant again 7 months after that and am now 37+2.  No body knows if you can or not.. not even doctor's because everyone is different!

My husband was told he was completely sterile after going on a certain deployment but two years later here we are about to have a son and all the guys he deployed with are having babies now too. Funny thing is they are all having little boys. Apparently they were exposed to something that only allows them to conceive males. Crazy!

My fiancé and i both really wanted kids. So yes, we were trying but we didn't think we'd get pregnant. If it never happened, it'd be heartbreaking but we understood. Within one month i got pregnant. I still get scared sometimes about a miscarriage, though.

Not me but a friend of mine miscarried and was told she couldn't get pregnant or I she did she'll miscarry. Well she happened to get pregnant she was due 1 week after me but she gave birth 15 weeks early. Thankfully the baby is doing good but she's still in the hospital she was only 1lb 14oz. I'm just happy the baby is alright

@rosey no religious debate needed. everyone is entitled to their own views and beliefs.

i was thinking from the female perspective, but yea. that counts too! lol.

@nece that's crazy! beat with a baseball bat?! wth! were you trying to have a baby or it just happened?

me, i wasn't trying but after being told I couldn't get pregnant cuz my fallopian tubes stop developing at 7 years old, i was having unprotected sex and after three years of the doctor being right, BAM! i got pregnant. i was like freaking out and thought for sure the 9+ tests i took were all wrong lol

I believe that things do happen for a reason, I don't believe "god" is the cause. Not to start a religious debate. But ANYwho. lol.

After my bf's auto accident, he had to have a nut vein put into his head during one of his brain surgeries (sorry tmi lol) and they told him it may lessen his chance of having kids. But obviously not, because I got pregnant within the first week or so of unprotected sex lol. I tell him all the time he has super sperm, haha.

I had the crap beat out of me in my younger years with a baseball bat to the abdomen. I was told I'd never have kids. December 2011 i had a miscarriage at about 7 weeks but didn't know i was pregnant until i miscarried. I thought that was my only chance. Got pregnant again September 2012 and I'm now 19+2 with a healthy baby boy :)
