Immediate Advice needed

I stopped my birth control pill in Nov. 2010 because of the chest pains that I was having. I started a period on Nov 15 after five days it was over, as it usually is then days later I started a spotting on Nov 29 which was actually a period or so I thought. My doctor explained to me that it may have been because I stopped taking the birth control in mid cycle and after 28 days then I would get my period again. Turns out I haven't gotten a period yet. I was due for my period on Dec 27 but it hasn't showed, for the last few weeks I've been experiencing nipple soreness and it really does hurt, pain that I have never had before, I've also been taking unexpected naps.So I decided to drink some juice until I could urinate then I took a home pregnancy test at about 9:30 pm and I got negative results. Could anyone who has experienced this type of problem give me some advice as soon as possible? I would greatly appreciate it

Like Sunworshiper said, the length of time on them won't matter. This is because they're hormonal and disrupt the natural cycle of the female body and some just take time to readjust thenselves.

It doesn't matter how long you were on the pill what Clysta said is correct

What if I had only been on the pill for a month and a half?

Retest with first morning urine and limit what you drink. Testing late in the day, especially after drinking so much will cause inaccurate answers. It's also possible your body is still adjusting to being off of birth control. Some women can take months and others take no time at all.

I had the same problem only I skipped my period for three months Qhen I came off of my birth control. Your body could just brrr adjusting the cycle and it is normal to miss a few months but if you miss more than 3 I would suggest to call your dr.
