Hey ladies .. Advice please, I'm 30 weeks and my baby moves but I'm not sure she has 10 kicks per hour. Is that bad ?

I was just at ante natal classes and they actually said that it's unrealistic for some babies to move 10 times an hour. The midwives said from 9am to 9pm you should feel 10 movements because babies sleep and have routines you could try and count at an hour when baby is asleep but they also did say that we should know what routine baby has so we will know what is normal amount of movement! If your worried call into doc or hospital depending on time wherever in world you are or even call and see what they say just to put your mind at ease.

I think it is supposed to be ten kicks within 2 hours at least and if not then you should contact your doctor. My baby was lazy too I felt like he wouldn't move for what felt like days but my doctor said that he probably is moving but sometimes we get busy at work or something and aren't paying attention and we tend to get use to the kicks so we might not notice it. But I'm 33 weeks now and baby's kicks are stronger and more frequent maybe your little big just needs to grow a little more too:) my kicks are starting to really hurt so I'm thinking the little time difference does make a big difference. Good luck!:)
