hip pain

My hip has been hurting for the last 3 days. The pain is from my right hip mostly then radiates to the mid area of my buttcheek. The same thing happens to my left but not so often. I've asked my manager and she says that it's normal and I've also asked the nurse who thought it was back pain. She said that I may need to add more to my workout but the pain gets so much when I walk that I end up limping. I was just wondering if it's something any of you have been through or if I should schedule an appointment with my doctor to get to the bottom of it

I'd ask your doctor.  I told mine about my pain and she sent me over to orthopedics and I had to get a shot of steroids. My pain was around the same area. I couldn't lay on either side without it hurting all night. Now I feel soooo much better and no pain. It's safe too and I'm about 20 weeks. But some people say you need to up your water intake as well.

How far along are you? My hips hurt the whole last month with my daughter. I was just so heavy right there and sleeping on my side didn't help any! If you're pretty far along, try sleeping in a recliner rather than flat on your sides.
