Those are things that very well may not happen again. IF you do not have other risk factors, you would probably be a good candidate for attempting VBAC.
Like I said, shop around for doctors, ask questions..lots of them. Find one who is willing to help you achieve a vaginal birth if at all possible. Don't settle for one who says "ok we'll try but the first thing that goes wrong, that's it-off to the O.R." All things considered, if it is not absolutely necessary to do a repeat c-section, a vaginal birth is by far the safest and best route for both mother and baby.
my son was breech. his bum was down adn head andlegs at the same place, they tried to turn him but kept going back to his normal postion,
after my water broke i didnt have any contraction for 12 hours. i was waiting 12 hours for my c-section after my water broke
A short answer: most likely yes.
However, there are a lot of factors...it depends on the reasons for your first c-section. Your doctor will do an assessment and determine your risks for having a VBAC. The vast majority of the time it is safe and adviseable to atleast allow a trial of labor for a VBAC. I had a c-section with my first child due to oligohydramniosis, breech presentation and intrauterine growth restriction. I have since had FIVE vaginal births.
Not all ob's are advocates for VBAC's so if this is something you are really interested in, shop around for docs and find out what their views are on them. I live in a small town and have found THE only doc who is willing to allow VBAC for me, however, for the majority of his patients he does not. He only did for me becuase I had 3 prior to seeing him.
There are some good resources on the "ICAN online" website and "the unneccessarian" you can google both of those to find their homepages.
