benadryl?

Can I take a benadryl for an allergic reaction? Somehow a cucumber got into my salad and my face, lips, and mouth is starting to swell and itch.

I've never been lactose intolerant in my life, but since I've been pregnant I can't hold dairy down. Hopefully Orion won't be lactose intolerant.

My husband is allergic to everything under the SUN and none of our kids have them well the youngest one is still to young to know but I dont have food allergys at all but while pregnant with my last son when i ate walnuts and blueberries and a few other things id get full blown itching and red and puffy ugh I just hope they r not things he will be allergic too

yea well hopefully not i dont think it is but i dont no hopefully your baby will not have ay allergies

I hope not, because I really want my baby to be able to enjoy apple juice and fruit and veggies without having to worry about his throat closing shut.

i dont no me nor my sons father are allergic to anything hes also lactose intolerant as well

Yeah, I'm allergic to acidic fruit(pineapples, apples, oranges, lemons...etc) but usually veggies don't bother me but I keep my distance anyway. Anyone know if food allergies are hereditary?

yea my son has allergies with pickles and red dye so i give him bendryl but he also has steriods to take as well so the bendryl will do the trick

I'm not swelling too bad, it's just red and itchy. I don't think I ingested enough of the piece of cucumber to do much harm. Grrr, I hate food allergies!

yes you can are you swelling really bad you may need to get some steriods but take the bendryl now if its really bad you should call doctor or go to er dont want your throat closing up on you
