Heart defect found.

At my 20week ultrasound they found something odd with my baby's heart so I got called in for a second. They told me he has a heart defect called double outlet right ventricle and will need surgery to fix it when he's about 6months old. He's OK right now since he's in the womb. I'm devastated, its difficult to know something like this.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Or did they get told something similar but baby turned out ok?

I think my friend had the same defect as a baby, she had open heart surgery young, but she's 19 now and she'll perfectly fine! Just has to be cautious about certain things! She also goes to heart camp with other people that have heart defects so she can relate! Hopefully all turns out for you, but you should be okay<3
