Does anyone have the implant in the arm? I'm conserdering getting it cause it lasts 3 years and I can't get my tubes tied till I'm 21 so I figured I'd use this then get fixed when I turn 21. Anyone had any bad experiences with the arm implant?

I had the Implanon worked perfectly fine, except for acne at first while my body got used to it. But do be careful if you don't want anymore kids. I got pregnant the same week I took it off. ;)

I always heard if you tie your tubes you can untie them if you want. But I was thinking about the implantation for after I have the baby.

Yeah. I'll probably leave it up to him. I'm fine with getting my tubes tied, but I know he's been doing research on it.

My husband had a vasectomy done almost 4 years ago (I refused another surgery and hospital stay to get myself sterilized) and it was done in our doctors office, took 15 minutes and he was back to work 3 days later. He still ejaculates the exact same, still orgasms just fine, acts the exact same. He just 'shoots blanks' so to speak.

I promise you it does nothing to the man's hormones. A ligation also won't change your hormones. To do that, you would need your ovaries removed, or he would need the testies removed. The only thing these procedures do is block sperm from leaving the mans body, or block the egg from coming into contact with sperm.

Yeah I'm sure. This is baby number 3 and I'm exhausted. Plus we wouldn't be able to afford anymore kids. All of ours will still be in diapers when this baby gets here.

Yeah he had brought it up but I've heard bad things about it saying it messes the mans hormones up. I feel like I should just get it done cause I'm the horndog lol.

Would your husband be willing to do vasectomy? Cheaper, faster and can be done immediately. No waiting or anything weird.

Yeah this is my 3rd baby in 3 years so my hubby and I decided no more so I just need to get something to last till I can go get my tubes tied.

Im goin for the iud it last anywhere between 5 years to 10 my first time though im getting it next month it will last for 10years and it only cost 350...
